From the very beginning Matt has always had a love and passion for music. As a young teenager he began traveling with several secular rock bands. However, no matter how much success they achieved, it seemed as if there was something standing in the way. Little did he know it was God's plan that was keeping him away from a life without Christ.

It was in his late teenage years that he gave his heart to Go. He then quit the very passion of his heart, music. He knew his former self revolved around music, and the kind of life must gave him, so in fear of falling back on his new commintment to Christ he just quit. However, in 2003 Matt was feeling a call toward music again and prayed for God to give a way to use his talents for him, or he would never pick up a guitar again. God heard his prayer.

That same year God called him to ministry and placed him as a worship pastor. Then in 2004 he joined the crew of 3DN and continues to fulfill his passion of music today.
