What is 3 Driven Nails? 3
Driven Nails is a ministry first, and a band second. 3DN is a
ministry like no other. They are focused on more than
just playing another "show," but on
truly leading people into a time of sincere worship. 3DN has
been traveling across the
southeast for over four years now, seeing people everywhere
saved.
What do you charge? People are usually
amazed that there is no "fee" for coming to an
event. Many have said, "you should definitely charge!"
God has always provided finances
for the band to minister, so the group functions on the
belief that God will provide. However,
it is a given that ministry takes money, so when 3DN comes
they give their 100%, and ask
that each host to do the same. You know how you are
able to bless the group, and that's
what is expected. It is left up to you and God what you
should bless the ministry with.
All funds fall straight back to the ministry for traveling,
equipment, recording, etc.
Do you provide
equipment, sound system, etc.? 3DN has everything it takes to make
the night happen. A nicely equipped sound system with
speakers, monitors, etc., and of
course all instruments they need. The band also comes
with an experienced sound man
that operates the system while 3DN is on stage.
However, if you have an adequate system
that is already in place, 3DN has no problem using one
provided.
How far will you travel? Two out
of the four members are full-time staff members at their
local church, which means they have to be present at home
base on Sunday's and
Wednesday's, which means they cannot travel on these days.
So if the event can be planned
where they leave and return before a Sunday, they can make
arrangements. However when
they travel out of state, hotel arrangements and traveling
expenses must be provided by the
event host. 3DN is very flexible so don't be afraid to
contact them with details or questions.
Do you
have a CD? Yes! 3DN released their debut album "My Name" in
July 2005. The
group spent a year on the project and are excited about how
it's being used to encourage
and spread the message to people all over the US. You
can visit the store to purchase the
album, or the media page to listen to sound clips.
Do you provide ministry other than music? Yes! 3DN has two
ministers in the group.
Brandon Matthews is a full-time youth pastor ministering to
50-70 teenagers every week.
Brandon has spoken to youth and adults all across the
southeast for over six years now.
The group is also proud to have Brandon Doss who is a
full-time children's pastor ministering
to around 50 children every week. Brandon has been
speaking to youth and adults for
around six years now. Either person would love to
minister to your group. Also, 3DN
often brings along "God's Property" drama team to minister
along side them. A ministry
of around 30 students sold out to Christ spreading the
message through drama.
